After a successful delivery of this years AppsDBA summercamp 2008 in Montpellier France, – and because of high interest/demand for this particular workshop, – we have decided to make a second run of the workshop early December this year.
The AppsDBA Summercamp this year, was a joint venture between the EMEA Appstech PC & the IBM/Oracle Joint Solution Center (JSC), located in Montpellier France. Feedback from the participants during this workshop was “that it was very successful working with real and sufficient hardware for the hands-on sessions and that this made a lot of difference compared to last year’s workshop”.

- The Workshop will have a strong focus on practical hands-on sessions.( IBM System p, x and z)
- Participants can use their own notebooks for practical work.
- Server equipment will be locally available.
Content
· Advanced Technical Architectures in EBS R12 (RAC, ASM, etc)
· High Availability and Load Balancing (Oracle Dataguard /Standby Database, multiple Middletier’s, Webcache etc.)
· System Management (AD tools, GridControl, AMP. etc).
