Oracle has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant in each of the three new Gartner Magic Quadrants focused on application infrastructure. The Magic Quadrants include:
- Application Infrastructure for SOA Composite Application Projects;
- New Systematic SOA Application Projects;
- and Application Infrastructure for Back-End Application Integration Projects.
Gartner defines application infrastructure as the technology that underlies and enables development, deployment, and execution of business applications. Other than the design and development tools, this technology is also often referred to as “middleware.”
