Application Change Management Pack is Oracle’s offering for customers to monitor and manage Oracle E-Business Suite changes. Application Change Management Pack provides a centralized view to monitor and orchestrate changes (both functional and technical) across multiple Oracle E-Business Suite systems.
Application Change Management Pack is made up of three components namely Customization Manager, Patch Manager and Setup Manager.
* Customization Manager automates the packaging of customizations into AD compliant packages that can be deployed across multiple Oracle E-Business Suite instances. Before packaging, the Customization Manager validates the customizations against Oracle’s software coding best practices.
* Patch Manager integrates with Oracle Metalink and automatically downloads and deploys different types of patches across multiple (single or multi-node) Oracle E-Business Suite instances.
* Setup Manager helps define implementation projects in terms of functional setups that need to be migrated across Oracle E-Business Suite instances.

Application Management Pack for Oracle E-Business Suite Version 3.0
Oracle Application Management Pack for Oracle E-Business Suite extends Enterprise Manager Grid Control to monitor and manage Oracle E-Business Suite systems.
The key capabilities of the pack in version 3.0 include:
* Advanced Discovery: This feature allows customers to monitor and manage Oracle E-Business Suite systems on advance topologies such as Real Application Clusters (RAC) and virtualizations.
* Oracle E-Business Suite Administration: With this enhancement customers can start or stop an Oracle E-Business Suite system, either completely or just its components, in the user interface.
* Hot Mode and RAC Cloning for Release 12 customers: This enhancement allows customers to clone automatically an Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 system in hot mode (that is, without shutting down the database). In addition, cuustomers can clone an Oracle E-Business Suite system on a RAC database to another Oracle E-Business Suite system with a RAC database or a non-RAC database.

* Improves DBA productivity by centralizing and automating key routine and complex tasks such as cloning and administration activities.
* Reduces the time to clone an Oracle E-Business Suite system (end to end). Also reduces the time spend by a DBA to clone the system.
