IBM and Oracle cooperating on virtualization is a very compelling value proposition. IBM brings sophisticated high-end hardware, Oracle brings virtualization and mission critical software, and they work together on integration and other services.
Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 is now certified on Oracle VM with 64-bit Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 4 and 64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 4 on x86-64.
Please note that OEL/RHEL 4 Update 7 (version 4.7) is required for use with EBS R12 on Oracle VM with the above OS’es.
